Ussoforal - To Join Together

The group has now expanded to comprise nearly 250 children (143 in Guinea-Bissau, 83 in Mozambique, and most recently 23 in Casamance) and is available to put on shows in cultural and scholastic settings, as well as organizing theatrical productions related to topics of particular social interest, such as health and the environment.

The Group '"Ussoforal" (which means "to join together") was founded in the Plack II neighborhood of Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, West Africa to help out-of-school children by providing an alternative to delinquency and idleness through the organization of activities promoting art and culture, such as traditional dance and theater.

Your donations help us help the children

"Ussoforal" relies entirely on donations to continue its work. There is a constant need for funds to obtain instruments and costumes, as well as school fees and supplies, sports equipment, basic medicines, and other day-to-day essentials. It is also the group's ambition to be able to share their experience with other neighborhood groups, or even groups from other countries. Therefore, any donation that you could make to help the group maintain its membership and continue its cultural mission would be very greatly appreciated.
